Part Time Tellers – Ludington, Shelby, Hesperia and Hart Branches
TELLER RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Records and processes transactions with accuracy and speed. Verifies cash drawer, maintains and safeguards own cash balances within security guidelines. Provides a variety of customer service functions, such as processing savings, checking accounts and loan transactions; opening new accounts, etc. Answers phones and responds to customer questions, takes messages. Possesses the ability to cash checks or process withdrawals within authority limits, and to ensure that the customer has the right to the funds. Performs related clerical tasks in an accurate and timely manner. Rotates among lobby teller windows, drive-up, and ATM duties. Complies with government regulations and BSA. Assists with any other duties as directed or required by Supervisor. Working Days and Hours will vary from week to week. Regular and on time attendance is required. Excellent communication skills. Ability to maintain positive relationships with others. Ability to perform under pressure, and adapt to changing and possibly stressful environment. Ability to identify, assist with and resolve routine problems that are within a teller’s knowledge. Experience with calculator and computer keyboarding is essential. General math skills are required. High School diploma or equivalent required.
Full Time Credit Analyst – Shelby
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Assist with the commercial lending function of the bank by providing and maintaining credit write-ups, credit memos, financial statements, property evaluations, and other information on behalf of the commercial loan department. The credit analyst works directly with lenders, other credit analysts, commercial loan processors, customers, accountants, and the Senior Lender.
A four-year college degree or near completion of a four-year college degree; preferably in a related field such as business, finance, economics, or accounting. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of commercial and consumer loans and general of financial statement analysis is preferred. Ability to work with limited supervision to produce high-quality results. Excellent math and computer skills (specifically with spreadsheets). Problem solving and critical thinking skills, organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines are required.
Full Time IT Specialist – Shelby
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Be a resource for the IT Department, end users, and Third-Party Service Providers for support and maintenance within the organization’s network environment. This may include installing, repairing, maintaining, logging, reviewing, documenting, troubleshooting, and/or updating different components of the network to provide adequate security controls and ensure optimal performance.
Travel to branch offices to assist with project implementation, troubleshooting, deployment, updating, and other necessary activities. Work with the Third-Party Service Provider to assist with their activities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the bank’s network and technology assets. Coordinate with existing IT staff to share duties and maximize production. Maintain bank confidentiality and security standards.
QUALIFICATIONS: At least a two-year college degree in a related computer science field such as Computer Information Systems, Networking, Computer Applications, or general Information Technology or comparable work experience is required. Experience or certifications in Microsoft or other proprietary network, server or desktop applications, Helpdesk Technician experience, and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Command Prompt is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Availability for occasional work outside normal business hours to provide for network and/or application maintenance and updates as needed. Problem solving and critical thinking skills, time management skills, and reliable transportation are required. Perform additional duties and responsibilities within the department as needed.
